I’m a licensed clinical psychologist providing in-person and telehealth sessions to adults, young adults, and couples in New Jersey, New York, and New York City. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University Post and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I specialize in working with adults and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling the impact of earlier experiences, including family/generational and unaddressed trauma.
My goal is to help people face their difficult experiences and gain the skills to overcome symptoms undermining their ability to build the life and relationships they want. I provide a collaborative space to reflect and connect with yourself while we gain clarity on how to make effective changes. I use solution and skill-focused strategies balanced with attending to and processing past experiences.
I frequently focus on past and present relationships when working with individuals and I also provide couples therapy. My style is warm, gentle, and honest, with appropriate humor. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy while providing holistic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care.
